Karni Sena announces reward of Rs 1,11,11,111 for the killer of Lawrence Bishnoi, video goes viral

Mumbai once became quite infamous over the terror links that had witnessed numerous gang wars. There was a time when killings, encounters on the street of Mumbai was a normal feature. Is the city going back to the old days of gang wars? Many are asking this question.

In a recent development, the Kshatriya Karni Sena announced a reward for the dreaded gangster Lawrence Bishnoi who has been behind the bars for over a decade. Still, the gang has been actively sending threats to celebrities, the latest victim of Bishnoi gang is actor Salman Khan. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique who was killed from a point blank range.

A video was recently released by Kshatriya Karni Sena’s national president Raj Shekhawat announcing a reward of Rs 1,11,11,111 for any police officer who kills Lawrence Bishnoi. The Kshatriya Karni Sena chief said Lawrence Bishnoi is also the “killer of our precious gem and heritage Amar Shaheed Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi ji”. The video has gone viral. Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the chief of Karni Sena, who was shot dead by unidentified assailants on December 5, 2023, in Jaipur. The Lawarence Bishnoi gang had claimed the responsibility for his murder.

The video said that the reward would be given to any security personnel who carried out the encounter of Lawrence Bishnoi. Shekhawat, has termed Bishnoi’s killing as good for safety and security of people. He also attacked the Centre and the Gujarat government over the menace.

Lawrence Bishnoi is currently lodged in Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail, under a case of cross-border drug smuggling. He was previously also named in the case of a firing outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai in April, but the Mumbai Police could not take his custody.
