The hoax call threating of bomb scare on airlines continues for second consecutive week. This week there was a slow down in the numbers and frequency of hoax calls but the menace of bomb threat continues.
The fresh case was reported on Sunday afternoon when an Ayodhya-bound flight from Bengaluru was made to have an emergency landing at Ayodhya’s Maharishi Valmiki International Airport after there was a bomb threat. The flight was scanned and all the passengers had a through security check but nothing was found. Once again the airlines called the call as a ‘prank’.
In a series of hoax bomb threats, nearly 300 flights operated by various Indian airlines have received bomb threats over the past two weeks.
