Washington: The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) legend Dwayne Johnson, famously known as The Rock and hailed as the ‘People’s Champ’ in the ring, reaffirmed his adoration for the pro-wrestling industry on Monday, asserting that there is truly no business like ‘Pro-Wrestling’.

The versatile Hollywood actor and former Wrestling World Champion took to the social media platform ‘X’ (previously known as Twitter), to express his sentiments.

“Hope everyone out there enjoys this tonight as much as we did pave the road over the years. There’s no business like the pro-wrestling business and I love it,” Johnson shared while extending his appreciation to WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

In a heartfelt post, he added, “Boundless respect to my brother Triple H. Blood, sweat, and ‘thanks for the house. WWE rivals.”

Johnson’s remarks surfaced shortly after WWE 14 times World Heavy Weight Champion- Triple H posted a video reminiscing about his past battles with The Rock, affirming his enduring commitment to the sport.

“Destined to do this forever. Thank God. Get an in-depth look at my rivalry with The Rock tonight at 8/7c when WWE rivals return to AETV,” Triple H announced, promoting ‘WWE on AE’.

Earlier announcements from WWE hinted at The Rock’s appearance on the March 1 show in Glendale, Arizona. Responding to the news, The Rock took to social media ‘Instagram’ once again to confirm his presence at the March 8 Smackdown in Dallas and the March 15 show in Memphis.

With The Rock’s involvement and anticipation building among WWE enthusiasts, fans are eagerly marking their calendars for the upcoming Smackdown events, expecting nothing short of extraordinary entertainment. The WWE officials are busy in preparation for the annual big event ‘Wrestlemania 40’ to be organised on April 6 and 7.
