A glance at the two women ministers in newly formed Haryana cabinet:
Shruti Chaudhary – She won the Tosham seat by more than 14,000 votes in the Haryana Assembly elections. A former MP from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, crossed over to the BJP from the Congress with her mother Kiran ahead of the Assembly polls.
Arti Singh Rao – 45 year old shooting champion, is a first-time MLA from Ateli who won by a narrow margin of 3,085 votes. Her father Rao Inderjit Singh, a former Rewari royal, joined the BJP ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP chief J P Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, besides a host of other leaders, including NDA partners and CMs of states ruled by party and its allies.
