Kejriwal accuses Amit Shah of protecting Bishnoi, says Delhi a ‘crime capital’

Allegations and counter-allegations are making rounds in Delhi with Assembly elections knocking at the door in the state. How could Aam Aam Admi Party (AAP) stay behind which has always indulged in blame game politics.

AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal once again attacked the Centre by saying Union Home Minister Amit Shah has turned the city into a “crime and extortion capital.” The former Delhi Chief Minister in the Assembly questioned the existence of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

“Lawrence Bishnoi is a most wanted criminal in numerous cases across America, Canada, Britain. He is lodged in the Sabarmati jail but is in contact with his allies and giving orders to kill or kidnap. How can he freely operate while in the jail?,” asked Kejriwal.

Kejriwal accused Shah and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of giving protection to Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang. “Amit Shah will have tell how a jailed criminal like Lawrence Bishnoi can call his aids or instruct whom to kill or kidnap,” said Kejriwal.

Kejriwal also mentioned the recent criminal cases that had taken place in the capital, “Today Delhi is known as ‘crime capital’ to the world. There are a group of criminals operating in the city and have divided areas and all this is taking place in full glare.”

However, the BJP is yet to respond to these allegations.
