The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has allegedly sent a death threat to Pappu Yadav, an Independent MP from Bihar’s Purnia. The threat came days after Yadav had expressed his solidarity with actor Salman Khan on X, he wrote that he was there for him amid threat to his life from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The threat came in an audio clip, the unidentified caller warned Yadav saying that he was closely observing his activities and would kill him if he didn’t stay away from issues involving Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
The Bishnoi gang that had asked Salman Khan repeatedly to seek forgiveness from the community and ask for mercy. The Bishnoi community is very angry on Khan for poaching Blackbuck in 1998 during his stay in Jaipur for shooting of a film. The Bishnoi community worship Blackbuck and Khan’s arrogance has aggravated their wrath. The situation has come to the level when the gang has threatened Salman Khan with dire consequences after killing the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique who was very close to Khan.
However, Yadav, himself a heavy weight politician was seen frustrated during a Press conference when journalists asked about Lawrence Bishnoi and the threats. Yadav said, “I have already told you not to ask irrelevant questions here”. A video of him losing his temper during the exchange has since gone viral.
Pappu Yadav also travelled to Mumbai and met Zeeshan Siddique, son of Baba Siddique. The MP also said he wanted to meet Salman Khan to “reassure him”, but the meeting could not happen because the actor was busy with his shoots.
“I am returning from Mumbai. Could not meet Salman Khan as he was busy shooing away from the city. I want to assure him ‘main hoon na’. I had a long conversation with him on the phone. He is fearless and brave. He said his work and humanity was of prime importance to him. I am with you in every situation,” Yadav tweeted in a post in Hindi.
However, Yadav has agreed of receiving a threat call from a person who claimed he was from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Earlier farmer leader, Rakesh Tikait, advised Salman Khan to Salman Khan to apologise to Lawrence Bishnoi.
