Kerala: Malayalam actor Lena made a startling revelation on Tuesday via her ‘Instagram’ account, disclosing her marriage to Group Captain Prasanth Balakrishnan Nair, who has been selected for Gaganyaan mission.
The actor further revealed that while she had tied the knot with Captain Prasanth last month, she had been eagerly waiting for a moment to share the surprising news of her wedding, especially after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced her husband’s name for the ‘Gaganyaan’ mission.”
Lena surprised her followers and fans by sharing a snippet of the official video on her Instagram post, along with pictures from her traditional wedding ceremony with Captain Prasanth.
Lena unveiled this personal secret on Tuesday evening, shortly after her husband, Captain Prasanth, was named by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as one of the pilots undergoing training for the Gaganyaan mission.
The actor in the caption posted, “Today, 27 February, 2024, our Prime Minister, Modi ji awarded the first Indian Astronaut Wings to Indian Air Force Fighter Pilot, Group Captain Prasantha Balakrishnan Nair. It is a historic moment of pride for our country, our state of Kerala and me personally,”
“I have been waiting for this announcement to share the special news of her marriage,”she wrote
“To maintain the officially required confidentiality, I was writing for this announcement to let you know that I got married to Prasanth on 17 January 2024 in a traditional ceremony through an arranged marriage,” she added.
