The Haryana results came like a shock for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that had made tall claims before polls that people would reject the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state and would elect the AAP as they had done immense work in that states they have their presence like Delhi and Punjab.
The people in Haryana have completely rejected the AAP as the party that claims to be “kattar imandar” (staunch honest) and bask in its own glory. The people perhaps have taken the lesson after watching the plight of Delhi and Punjab. Not to mention top leaders of the party including Convener Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia alongwith state Health Minister Satyendra Jain landing up in Tihar jail over the liquor scam.
However, after watching the results, Kejriwal said, “One should never be overconfident in the elections”.
