UK MeT Office issues yellow ice warning, read details

The Meteorological Department (MeT) has issued yellow ice warning in wake of inclement weather across United Kingdom (UK).

The UK is bracing for another wave of snow and ice. According to MeT office snow storm is expected across the region.

The temperature plunged overnight, raising concerns over travel disruptions and power outages.

Over 140 schools mid in north-east, and south-east Wales were closed due to poor weather condition. Most affected areas are – affecting areas such as Wrexham, Powys, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Torfaen, and Blaenau Gwent.

Ice warning has been issued across the east coast from 4 pm on Wednesday until 10 am on Thursday, stretching from Newcastle to Norwich.

Yellow snow and ice warning has been issued across northern Scotl and between 10 am on Wednesday and 12 pm on Thursday.

Ice warning has been issued between 5 am and 3 pm on Thursday, a snow warning was issued for southwest England, stretching from Weymouth across to Plymouth.
