Upcoming Election is between Modi-led NDA vs Congress-led dynastic parties : Amit Shah

Union Home Minister

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said this upcoming election is between the Congress-led dynastic parties and the Modi-led NDA, the same battle like Mahabarat conflict between Pandavas and Kauravas.

He also attacked on the Congress, rebuking dynasty appeasement and unveiling a second political resolution titled “BJP Desh Ki Aasha, Vipaksh Ki Hatasha.”

Addressing party office bearer, senior leaders and workers at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) National Convention in the National Capital’s second day, Shah primarily targeted the opposition’s I.N.D.I Alliance.

During the convention, the Union Home Minister presented a comprehensive seven-page political roadmap, squarely blaming the Congress for fostering instability, corruption, and dynastic politics in recent times.

In its assessment, the BJP accused the Congress of perpetuating instability, entrenched corruption, and divisive politics.

Shah took aim at opposition parties for perpetuating “dynastic politics,” asserting, “In this country, we have 2G, 3G, and 4G parties.” This does not refer to the telecom scandals but rather to parties spanning two, three, or four generations with unchanging leadership. Shah questioned why India seemingly lacks talented young leaders willing to step forward, emphasizing the need to eradicate dynastic politics and parties.

He likened the upcoming election to the Mahabharat conflict between the Pandavas and the Kauravas, framing it as a battle between the Congress-led dynastic parties and the Modi-led NDA, with the inclusion of the Ghamandia Alliance and the NDA.

Shah, in reference to Opposition leaders such as Sharad Pawar, Sonia Gandhi, Lalu Prasad, Mamata Banerjee, and M K Stalin, remarked, “While PM Modi prioritizes the welfare of the poor and the nation’s development, leaders of the INDIA bloc are focused on grooming their children for top political positions.”

“Today, all these ‘family princes’ have united against Modi, believing that only individuals from powerful political families are fit for the highest offices,” Shah emphasized.

“Not only will Prime Minister Narendra Modi be chosen for a third term, but under his leadership, the nation will be rid of terrorism and naxalism. The government will continue to prioritize farmer welfare and economic development,” he asserted.

“It is under Modi’s leadership that India has been liberated from corruption, casteism, and family-centric politics, ushering in an era of performance-based governance. Today, India is recognized by world leaders and nations as an emerging global power and world’s third largest economy,” he concluded.
