Some bad news for Republican candidate Donald Trump and his followers as survey shows Democrats candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris developing a slight lead over former President Donald Trump.
These are the trends that keep on changing and surveys are therefore not full proof but surveys play a big role in American elections. On average surveys show a virtual dead-heat contest for the White House and close races in all seven swing states, keeping the race wildly unpredictable just one week before Election Day.

Let’s take a glance at the surveys:
Morning Consult’s weekly survey – Harris was leading by three points over Trump. 50%-47%. She led by four points, 50%-46%, in the group’s previous two polls.
ABC/Ipsos survey – The Democrats candidate shown leading Trump by four points, 51%-47%, slightly up from her 50%-48% edge in early October.
CBS/YouGov survey – On its Sunday show, Harris was shown up by 50%-49%, a shift from the vice president’s 51%-48% mid-October lead (the ABC poll had a margin of error of 2.5, and the CBS poll’s margin of error was 2.6).
Emerson College Polling survey (October 23-24) – The survey reports released on Saturday, has the two candidates tied at 49%, after finding Harris leading 49% to 48% one week earlier (the poll has a margin of error of 3). The Emerson’s weekly poll for the first time showed Harris wasn’t leading since August, 2024.
Times/Siena survey – Trump and Harris are deadlocked at 48% among likely voters. According to the survey, the results are “not encouraging” for Harris and the Democrats.
The poll represents a decline in support for Harris since The Times’ previous poll in early October that showed her with a 49%-46% lead over Trump, while at least three surveys over the past week show Trump with a narrow advantage and six others found Harris leading.
CNN/SSRS survey – Showed a downward trend for Harris, who led Trump 48% to 47% in the groups’ September survey, while their poll just after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race found Trump with 49% and Harris with 46%.
Wall Street survey – The registered voter poll out Wednesday (margin of error 2.5)—a shift in Trump’s favor since August, Kamala Harris led 47% to 45%.
Many more surveys conducted across America shows Harris and Democrats ahead of Republican’s Trump. However, the margin is very narrow and cannot be concluded that win of Democrats is final.
