After nearly three decades, biker’s all-time enduring favourite-Yamaha RX 100 which ruled Indian roads and the hearts of millions of Indian riders is gearing up to return, reigniting fond memories and nostalgia.
Although the Japanese two-wheeler giant discontinued its production in the year 1996, Yamaha in an outstanding move is gearing up to relaunch its iconic Yamaha RX100 model, much to the excitement of biking enthusiasts across India.
“Yamuna Rx 100 is set to make a triumphant comeback, offering a blend of classic charm and modern innovation,” claims a report by Stylerug.
According to industry reports, Yamaha has undertaken a thorough revamp of the RX100 to meet the stringent emission standards of BS6 Phase 2 to give touch challenge its competitors by upgrading a power of 225.9cc BS6 engine, capable of delivering an impressive power output of 20.1 bhp and peak torque of 19.93 Nm.
Amid the speculations on specific details of price are yet to be revealed by Yamaha, the industry experts are anticipating a competitive pricing range estimated between Rs 1.25 lakh to 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
