Voting is underway in Jharkhand for the second and final phase of assembly elections on Wednesday, today. The Congress-Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) coalition, led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, contesting against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Till 1 pm the voters turnout was 47.92 per cent.
In Jharkhand, polling is being held for the remaining 38 seats. Polling for first phase took place on November 13, 2024. 43 constituencies went to polls and recorded a 64.86 per cent voter turnout.
Bypolls are taking for 15 assembly seats across Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Kerala, and Uttarakhand.
