Nitish Kumar thinks ‘Mandate of people’ is like shoes of his feet,” says Tejashwi Yadav

Patna: Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar assembly, has accused CM Nitish Kumar of disregarding the people’s mandate, likening it to the shoes on his feet. As he commenced the Jan Vishwas Yatra in Bihar ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Yadav asserted that Kumar would face repercussions in the upcoming polls.

“Today, we are embarking on the ‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’ in Bihar, and I am confident that the people of Bihar, who supported me and my party by making RJD the single largest party in the last two assembly elections, will continue to bless us in the upcoming elections,” Yadav stated.

“Nitish Kumar thinks the people’s mandate is like the shoes of his feet. He will get appropriate answers in upcoming elections,” he added.

“As you all know Nitish Kumar neither has a vision nor has a reason to change the alliance. Through the Jan Vishwas Yatra, I will present my party’s perspective and political commitments to the people. I am going before the people carrying the blessing of my mother, the capacity of my father and my responsibility for the common men of the state through Jan Vishwas Yatra. I will put the perspective of my party and political assurance before them. We will highlight the accomplishments of the Mahagathbandhan government during its 17-month tenure, achievements that were unprecedented during Nitish Kumar’s 17-year rule,” Yadav affirmed.

The time has come now when the people of Bihar are ready to uproot this corrupt system and government with illogical ideology, he added.
